Regional Content Insertion
The MC3000 (4RU chassis) and the MC3100 (1RU chassis) are ideal for local content insertion into the IP or QAM network removing the need for contributing it back to the main head-end. The modular approach makes it possible to tailor the solution to fit the local requirements. In most cases, all required functionality can be fitted into a single chassis removing the need for complex installation with multiple of boxes and a separate management systems.
The MC3000/MC3100 can host multiple inputs such as IP, ASI, DVB-S/S2, DVB-T and DVB-C. ASI, IP and QAM output interfaces are available all supporting multiplexing including full regeneration of PSI/SI tables. The MC3000/MC3100 advanced multiplex software support up to 250 services simplifies engineers' deployment and operational routines. The combination of a wide range of input interfaces, descrambling, re-scrambling and advanced re-multiplexing functionality makes the MC3000 ideal for local content insertion where all functionality is contained in the same chassis.
The MC3000 or MC3100 can be seamlessly integrated with existing head-end solutions or used as a regional multiplexer.
A turn key head-end solutionThe MC3000/MC3100 is a Carrier Grade multiplexer for Professional Operators. The MC3000/MC3100 is a compact solution removing the need for multiple boxes for reception, descrambling, scrambling and multiplexing reducing both capital and operational expenditures. The MC3000/MC3100 has Gbit capacity and handles all signal processing internally. Appear TV's MC3000/MC3100 offers a high performance QAM output module for direct insertion of digital services into the cable network. Based on a full digital-modulation and upconversion architecture, the QAM Output module delivers a clearer signal, and makes future upgrades easier. Developed specifically for digital cable operators, makes it the ideal solution for deployments requiring aggregation of services from multiple sources, service processing and preparation for QAM broadcast over cable networks. |
