DVB-S/S2 Input
Appear TV’s compact satellite receiver module supports the reception of 4 different satellite transponders. The input module supports all standard DVB-S/S2 constellations and also the more advanced constellations typically used in contribution applications. The demodulator can be used in combination with all available Appear TV modules. This makes it possible to combine reception, descrambling, re-scrambling, multiplexing, PSI/SI/PSIP regeneration and different output options into a single chassis. Alternatively, one chassis can be equipped with 8 DVB-S/S2 receiver modules, and together with IP output, enables the reception of 32 transponders, performs service filtering and re-multiplexing, before streaming selected services out on IP. Appear TV’s solution offers broadcasters both higher rack density and lower power consumption.

DVB-T/T2 Input
Appear TV’s compact DVB-T/T2 receiver module contains 4 independent tuners/demodulators able to receive 4 different RF channels simultaneously. The input module can be used in combination with all available Appear TV modules. This makes it possible to combine reception, descrambling, re scrambling, multiplexing, PSI/SI/PSIP regeneration and different output options into a single chassis.
