Appear TV offers operators the most advanced head-end architectures in the marketplace for delivering analog and digital broadcast services to their subscribers.

Appear TV head-ends are designed with modularity to achieve the most flexible solution with the highest density. We offer multiple inputs (IP, ASI, DVB-S/S2, DVB-T and DVB-C); descrambling/scrambling (DVB & AES) as well as a variety of output options (IP, ASI, QAM, FM Radio and analog TV).

The modularity and high flexibility of our head-ends make them suitable for multiple network architectures: streaming and multiplexing of digital content over IP based networks and conversion of digital content for analog networks (and distribution of TV and FM radio).

Appear TV is based in Oslo, Norway and is dedicated to designing reliable, revenue-generating and innovative solutions for operators looking to deliver real-time content to the home.

NEW PRODUCTS AND FUNCTIONALITIES

MPEG 4 HD Decoder with SDI Output This high density solution enables the decoding of up to 30 channels in one 4RU chassis in either MPEG-2 SD/HD or MPEG-4 AVC SD/HD format. More IP Input Redundancy

Bulk Descrambler The new bulk descrambler enables up to 250 services to be descrambled in a single 1RU chassis. More IP Input Redundancy

EPG schedule regenerator The new Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) module allows a network operator to receive several channel bouquets from multiple sources and re-use the existing EPG information.

Digital Audio Leveling (Award winning) enables an operator to balance the audio levels of up to 250 TV and radio channels per module More IP Input Redundancy

Redundancy (Award winning): Always-on intelligent software core

IP Input redundancy is designed to monitor failures external to Appear TV systems that may be indicated by link loss or the absence of a bitrate. More IP Input Redundancy

Internal Redundancy Decoders can choose to receive configuration information from either the Master MMI or, should failure occur, from the slave MMI. More Internal Redundancy

IP Output Redundancy The 'Always On' IP output redundancy system presents a network with multiple sources from which it is possible to obtain the same service.
